Winter Vacations Likely to Be Announced in Phases Across Kashmir from December 9

The School Education Department is expected to announce winter vacations in Kashmir in a phased manner, sources said on Tuesday.

 A proposal submitted to the government suggests starting the break for primary classes on December 9, with secondary and senior secondary classes following a week later. 

The move comes amid intensifying cold weather conditions in the region.
